08:35At 04:50, team Blackheart.com.au crossed the line to win the 2008 XPD.
They were weary, but still in good shape after the trek over Mt Kosciusko. They spent a fair bit of time trekking through snow at the top, and said progress was slow.
and, since they were there in the early morning, missed out on the option to catch the chairlift down from the top of Thredbo that some other teams may be able to avail themselves of!
Blackheart / Salomon went through the Charlottes Pass TA (start of the last trek) at 03:50. They have not yet arrived at the finish.
Nga Rakau and Tangerine are both yet to arrive at the Charlottes Pass TA.
