Good morning from TA4

It's misty but calm here at TA4 this morning. Extreme bad weather is still forecast for this afternoon/tonight but so far it looks to have been ok.

Two more teams headed out on the mountain bike leg last night Australaps and Starfactor at 2am and 5:30 am respectively but the rest of the teams are camped out here looking to see what the weather will do.

The weather has certainly thrown a spanner in the works and is causing huge headaches for the race directors. Hopefully the extreme weather will pass quickly and these teams at the back half of the field can continue on racing.

We havn't yet had any more updates from the front of the field. There was a report that Blackheart went through CP10 at 10pm last night but no other news. There is no coverage at CP10 so it is possible that further teams have been through there since then.

We will hopefully be heading out towards CP10 and/or the stage finish shortly and hopefully will see some or all of the kiwis.

Just heard that Blackheart are at the end of the ride and sleeping before the Murray river paddle.
